It all started with her (and that belly full!!)
Layla's first husband. He was a very tiny little peanut, when we brought him home.
Sadly, he got too big to be with Layla. Clapton was adopted by a loving family in Texas.
Layla's second husband, and father to her litters. We do not have baby pictures of Taco, he was full grown when we got him. After Layla was spayed, we put Taco up for adoption to avoid accidental breeding with his daughters, Lola & Lacie. Taco moved to a Chihuahua's paradise in southern Minnesota. His new family may be more obsessed with Chihuahuas than we are!
So cute! We can't believe how much she has changed, and changed our lives. Looking at this picture, it's not hard to see why we couldn't stop at just one.
Spayed, and mostly retired. Layla likes to lay around and watch T.V. with her family. (Look who's going a little grey!!)

Tiny, short haired, and very sweet. This was the first puppy to be named by a contest at Midwest Pet Finder. Lolita was the winning name.
Renamed Tia Marie, she is now a proud Canadian girl.
The chubby one! Very sweet and playful.
Renamed Sunny, he now lives in Alexandria, MN.
The smallest of the litter. She was the miracle puppy. She was still born, but we were able to revive her with CPR.
Lola lives here at Chijuana Chihuahuas. She owns a 12 year old girl, who she loves to death! She has had one litter with Chico, so far.
An only puppy, Bubba is the son of proud parents, Lola & Chico. Renamed Billy, He now lives in Woodbury, MN. He is an aspiring agility dog! We'll keep you posted on that.

Zita was the only puppy out of Layla & Tacos kids to get Taco's face markings. She was also the second puppy to be named by a contest on Midwest Pet Finder. Zita was the winning name, and the new owner kept it!
Pictured with her new family, Zita is a spoiled girl, along with her adopted sister Peka. She now lives in McClusky, ND, but winters in Arizona (Lucky Dog!)
He was the mellow one, wise beyond his years.
Gorgeous boy! He got many facial features, and expressions from his mommy. He has been renamed Latte, and now lives in Sioux Falls, SD.
She was the smallest in this litter. She is very shy, and is often referred to as our delicate flower.
She is very petite. She has had one litter with Chico, so far. Ultimately, her one true love, is the man of the house. She is obsessed with him. (The lady of the house totally understands!)
Born June 26, 2007. There were 2 males, 1 was still born. The other was the gorgeous fella in the photo - Mister Peanut! Renamed Gunnar, he now lives in Roseau, MN. His family has promised to send new photos soon, so be sure to check back! He was 8 weeks old in this photo.
He was so cute! We could not have imagined how much he would change, and how gorgeous he would be! He is definitely "Mama's boy", as his name says.
Photos do not do him justice. This is one of the most gorgeous dogs we have ever seen. Husband to Lola & Lacie, and sire to their gorgeous babies. He is a wonderful dog, with a very outgoing and sociable personality!
